Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Muushig (Муушиг), a free online multiplayer card game playable at muushig.fly.dev and as a Discord Activity (the “Service”), operated by an independent developer (“we”, “us”). By playing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. When you play inside Discord, you must also comply with Discord’s Terms of Service; likewise Google’s or Facebook’s terms if you sign in with those providers.
2. Your account
You may play as a guest, or sign in through Discord, Google, or Facebook. You are responsible for activity on your account. Display names pass through a profanity filter, and we may rename, suspend, or remove accounts with offensive names or abusive behavior. How we handle your information is described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Fair play
The game is only fun if it’s fair. You agree not to:
- cheat, including colluding with other players to manipulate results or ratings;
- use unauthorized automation, scripts, or bots to play on your behalf;
- exploit bugs for advantage (please report them instead);
- harass or abuse other players;
- attempt to disrupt the Service, probe its infrastructure, or access other players’ accounts or data;
- use the Service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or terminate access, and void or recalculate game results, statistics, and ratings, to protect the integrity of the game.
4. Statistics and ratings
Match histories, statistics, and skill ratings are provided for fun. They are publicly visible, have no monetary value, and may be adjusted, reset, or recalculated at any time (for example after a scoring bug or confirmed cheating).
5. Free service and premium features
The Service is currently free. Some features (such as hosting custom tables) may be limited to accounts with premium status, which is currently granted manually. There are no purchases in the game today; if paid features are ever introduced, these terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated first.
6. Intellectual property
Muushig is a traditional Mongolian card game and its rules belong to everyone. The software, artwork, text, music, and other content of this implementation are owned by the developer and protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for playing the game. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service’s content without permission.
7. Availability, changes, and termination
This is an independent project offered as a hobby service. We may change, interrupt, or discontinue the Service (or any feature) at any time without notice, and may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the game. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. You can stop using the Service — and request deletion of your data — at any time.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Games in progress may be lost to outages, disconnections, or bugs.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use it — zero.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
